God is three distinct Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are co-equal, co-eternal and all-powerful. This holy unity is commonly referred to as the Trinity.
God is the creator of the heavens and the earth and the author of all life. He is holy and righteous, gracious and merciful, jealous and vengeful. He shares His glory with none other because there is no other like God.
(1 Samuel 2:2, Psalm 145:8-10, Isaiah 42:5, Nahum 1:2, Colossians 1:16, 1 John 5:7)
God is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He alone has authoritatively determined what is good and lawful, and what is evil and sinful.
God has established His Law in the Ten Commandments and we will be individually judged according to our keeping of His Law.
God is the judge who will not ignore lawlessness. When we sin, we break God’s Law and store up more and more wrath for the day of judgement.
(Psalm 31:19 , Psalm 145:17, Romans 7:12, James 1:17, 1 John 1:5)
Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3)
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: (Exodus 20:4)
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (Exodus 20:7)
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus 20:8)
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (Exodus 20:12)
Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)
Thou shalt not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:14)
Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15)
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16)
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. (Exodus 20:17)
When Adam willingly disobeyed God’s command by eating from the forbidden tree of knowledge, he became a guilty sinner. Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden and God promised them death and sorrow as a result of their sin.
The ramifications of Adam’s sin affect all of us today: As his descendants, we have inherited a rebellious nature that is at enmity with God and His Law. Like Adam and Eve, we as sinners are unworthy to enter God’s paradise because of our great offences against God.
(Proverbs 6:16-19, Habakkuk 1:13, Romans 5:12, Romans 8:7–8, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
It only takes one lie or blasphemous utterance to leave your lips; a moment of unjustifiable anger or envy; one perverse or hateful thought for you to be charged guilty of sinning and deserving of eternal punishment.
We’re all guilty of disobeying and breaking God’s Law. We will each one day stand before Him in judgement. Your acts of kindness and charity throughout life will not buy you a shred of mercy, because sin against a holy God necessitates a full and harsh punishment.
(Isaiah 64:6, Romans 3:10–12, Romans 3:23, Galatians 5:19–21, Galatians 6:7, 1 John 1:8–9, 1 John 3:4)
Put simply, each and every human being will arrive at one of two eternal destinations upon death: Heaven or hell.
All who remain under condemnation for their sin will arrive in hell to suffer God’s terrible wrath forever.
Only the righteous will arrive in heaven: God’s kingdom and a paradise of inconceivable majesty and holiness. It’s a place where God is worshipped and enjoyed forever, and there is no more death or sorrow.
We are all guilty and fully deserving of hell, and it is impossible for us to earn our way into Heaven.
(John 5:24, Romans 2:6-8, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 2:9, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 21:4)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Jesus is more than a great prophet or moral teacher: He is God in equal standing with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
To be clear: The one true God is three distinct Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are not divided, nor do they disagree; they are the one true God working in holy unity.
Jesus has always existed and there has never been a time when Jesus was not present. All things were made by Him and through Him. He was present with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit when the universe was created.
(John 1:3, John 8:58, John 10:30, Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 1:2, 1 John 5:7)
Over two thousand years ago, God the Son, Jesus Christ came in human flesh in order to perfectly keep and fulfil the Law, breaking none of the Commandments.
He fulfilled the Law by living a sinless life and providing Himself as the only acceptable sacrifice to suffer the full wrath of God on the cross in Calvary. He did not deserve this terrible punishment, yet He willingly received it on behalf of His believers, so that those who trust in Him would never have to face the wrath of God.
True to His teaching, Jesus was resurrected three days later — appearing to over 500 witnesses — before returning to heaven to reign with God the Father until His glorious and vengeful return.
(John 3:16-17, John 10:9-11, John 15:14, Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 2:1-2)
Dear friend, please know that no matter how wicked or cruel your deeds in life, God gifts a royal pardon to all who trust in Jesus as resurrected Lord and Saviour.
Please do not make the mistake of thinking that your acts of kindness in life will convince a holy and righteous God to ignore the sins that you are truly guilty of.
Trust that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, that He lived a sinless life and suffered God’s wrath on behalf of His believers, and that He rose again to reign with God the Father in Heaven.
Trust that the punishment you deserve was paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary, and you have the assurance that you are clothed in His righteousness, forgiven of your sins, and in receipt of God’s mercy.
We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
(John 3:36, John 5:24, Acts 16:30–31, Romans 10:9–10, Ephesians 2:8–9)
God the Holy Spirit dwells with and in all believers. He is the seal of our salvation and the guarantor of our heavenly inheritance.
The Holy Spirit helps believers to comprehend the message of the Bible and points us in prayer as we commune with our heavenly Father.
Believers are The Holy Spirit’s temple and we must not grieve Him by sinning.
(John 16:13-14, Acts 2:38, Romans 8:26–27, 1 Corinthians 2:12-13, Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, Titus 3:4-6, Hebrews 13:5-6)
The Holy Spirit inspired specific men over a period of approximately 1,500 years to record God’s message for future generations — including us. The message of the ancient Scriptures has been divinely preserved for us today in the Protestant Bible.
God’s message is true and active today. When believers read the Bible, the Holy Spirit illuminates God’s goodness and makes clear His instructions for followers of Christ.
(Psalm 12:6, Psalm 119:105, 1 Corinthians 2:13-14, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12,2 Peter 1:21)

Obey Jesus’ instruction to be baptised by water immersion, and appropriately partake in the Lord’s Supper. Glorify God in all that you do.
(Matthew 22:37-39, John 10:27–28, Romans 10:14-15, Romans 12:1-2, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 1:13-14)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If you don’t own a Bible, we recommend purchasing the King James Study Bible by Thomas Nelson Bibles.
The Protestant Bible contains 66 distinct books written by men under the authority of the Holy Spirit. We recommend starting your journey through the Bible with the 43rd book, which is titled John.
The book of John provides an account of Jesus and His earthly ministry over 2,000 years ago. Throughout John, we learn about Jesus’ teachings, miracles and His fundamental role in our salvation.
